Community Guidelines

Our standard

Agarwal Samaj Connect exists to help Agarwal Samaj families connect with dignity. Treat other members, families, businesses, and committee representatives with respect. When in doubt, pause and choose the more careful option.

Prohibited conduct

The following are not allowed:

• Harassment, threats, intimidation, or hate directed at any person or group
• Caste-based or community abuse
• Fraud, impersonation, or identity misrepresentation
• False or materially misleading matrimonial information
• Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or scraping of the platform
• Redistribution of private biodata or member contact details obtained through the platform
• Misuse of committee official contacts (including commercial spam or harassment)
• Job scams, fake openings, or requests for unlawful payments from applicants
• Misleading business listings or invented credentials
• Upload of malicious, illegal, or sexually exploitative content
• Attempts to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls

Matrimonial etiquette

• Request details only when genuinely interested and eligible.
• Accept or decline requests courteously; no harassment after a decline.
• Do not pressure anyone for money, documents, or meetings based solely on portal chat.
• Verify independently and involve family judgment for important decisions.

Jobs and businesses

• Post only genuine opportunities and accurate business information.
• Applicants should never be asked to pay AGSeva or unknown agents simply to apply through the portal.
• Report suspicious listings promptly.

Moderation and enforcement

Administrators may review reports, remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts when guidelines or terms are violated. Actions are taken to protect the community and platform integrity. Enforcement is not always public.

Reporting

Report concerns through the Contact page or email support@agseva.in . Include relevant profile names, URLs, and a short description of the issue.
