Acceptance

By creating an account or using Agarwal Samaj Connect, you agree to follow these Terms of Use, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy.

What AGSeva is

AGSeva is a community facilitation platform. It helps Agarwal Samaj members and families discover matrimonial information (with controls), members, jobs, businesses, committee role contacts (when published), and news. It is not a government service, not a marriage bureau guaranteeing outcomes, and not an employer for third-party job listings unless a listing explicitly says so.

Eligibility and accounts

• The platform is intended for Agarwal community members and their families for community, professional, and matrimonial purposes.
• You must provide truthful registration information and keep credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Administrators may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these terms or the Community Guidelines, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

No guarantees

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AGSeva does not guarantee:

• marriage or match suitability;
• the accuracy of identity claims or other information supplied by users;
• matrimonial outcomes;
• employment, applicant suitability, or job authenticity beyond ordinary moderation efforts;
• business quality, performance, or commercial results;
• committee or member statements beyond published role contacts;
• uninterrupted or error-free availability of the service.

Your responsibilities

• Verify important information independently before acting.
• Exercise judgment for matrimonial, financial, and employment decisions.
• Behave lawfully and respectfully.
• Safeguard your credentials and devices.
• Submit truthful content and keep listings reasonably accurate.

Matrimonial tools

AGSeva facilitates discovery and requested information sharing. Families and users must conduct their own verification and due diligence. Detail-request acceptance is a user decision, not platform endorsement. Do not redistribute private biodata obtained through the platform.

Jobs

Unless a listing explicitly states that AGSeva is the employer, third-party employers are responsible for their listings and hiring. AGSeva does not request payment from applicants for applying through the portal. Report suspected scams via support.

Businesses

Business listings are provided for community discovery. Listing does not equal endorsement unless specifically stated. Evaluate businesses independently.

Committee contacts

When published, official committee contacts are for legitimate community matters. Harassment, unsolicited commercial spam, or misuse of those contacts is prohibited.

User-generated content and moderation

• You remain responsible for content you submit.
• You must have the right to provide the information you upload.
• Administrators may moderate, hide, or remove content that appears harmful, unlawful, misleading in a material way, or non-compliant.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AGSeva and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform, user-provided information, third-party listings, or decisions you make based on platform content. Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Members who receive private information through approved pathways must not redistribute it.

Verification channels

• Email verification and mobile verification are separate. Email OTP proves email ownership; WhatsApp/SMS OTP proves mobile ownership.
• Available channels depend on administrator configuration (signed email link or email OTP; WhatsApp, MSG91, Fast2SMS, or mobile verification off).
• SMS, WhatsApp, and email delivery are not guaranteed by AGSeva.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your registered email and mobile numbers.
• Misuse of OTP codes (sharing, brute force, automated abuse) is prohibited.

Account deletion

• You may request account deletion as described on the Data Deletion page.
• After final purge, deletion is irreversible for purged personal data.
• Restoration is possible only during the platform recovery/grace period, via support/admin review.
• Legal/security records may be retained where necessary.
• Deletion does not require AGSeva to erase third-party records AGSeva does not control.
