What you can do on AGSeva
AGSeva brings several community needs together:
- Matrimonial discovery — browse limited profile summaries and request additional details only when the profile owner accepts. Private information is not shared automatically.
- Members and community connections — discover members through the directory according to each member’s visibility choices.
- Jobs — explore opportunities posted for and by the community, and apply through the methods shown on each listing.
- Businesses — find community businesses for everyday services and professional needs.
- Committee information — when official representatives are published by administrators, contact details for legitimate community matters will appear in the Committee directory.
- News and updates — read community announcements and portal updates in English, with Hindi content supported for future posts.
Privacy-conscious by design
Community platforms handle sensitive information. AGSeva is built with privacy controls in mind. Member contact details, matrimonial private fields, and job application documents follow access rules rather than public open listing. You decide what to publish, and owners control who may see deeper matrimonial details through the request workflow.
That said, no online platform can replace your own judgment. Always verify important information independently — especially for matrimonial introductions, employment offers, and business transactions.
Matrimonial tools with controlled access
The matrimonial area is intended to help families discover potential matches within the community while reducing unnecessary public exposure. Summary cards show limited information. Additional details become available only when a detail request is accepted by the profile owner. Approval of a request is not a platform endorsement of any person or outcome, and AGSeva does not guarantee marriage suitability or identity claims supplied by users.
Jobs and businesses for community support
The Jobs board helps members find openings and helps organisations reach community talent. Listings may be moderated, but applicants should still verify employers and never pay anyone claiming to guarantee a job through the portal. AGSeva does not request payment from applicants for applying through the platform.
The Businesses directory helps members discover local and digital services offered by community-connected businesses. A listing is provided for discovery; it is not, by itself, a guarantee of quality or an endorsement beyond what is explicitly stated.
Committee directory
Official Committee representatives will be published once authorised names and role contacts are provided and reviewed by administrators. Until then, the Committee module may remain unavailable publicly. When live, official mobile and email contacts are role contacts for legitimate Samaj matters — not private member profile numbers copied automatically.
Mobile-friendly community service
AGSeva is designed to work on phones and desktops so families can browse news, directories, and opportunities conveniently. The portal is community-oriented: it exists to serve Agarwal Samaj members and families rather than to operate as a commercial social network.
